about lu jong

lu jong, tibetan healing yoga, improves the health of the body, mind and spirit. this series of movements cultivates our self-healing capacity by releasing physical and mental blockages and harmonizing our flow of energy.

rooted in tibetan medicine, the lu jong exercises restore the balance of the elements and humors—vital substances—of the body and increase the flexibility of the spine. through a rhythmic combination of position, movement and breath, this practice cultivates conditions conducive for meditation by calming and focusing the mind.

about teacher

žana has been practising yoga for over 15 years, finding it essential for self-discovery and healing. she began with ashtanga yoga, which provided a strong base for her growth, both physically and mentally.
her dedication led her to attend dharma’s 500-hour teacher training in new york, learning directly from the living master sri dharma mittra. for nearly 8 years now, žana has been actively sharing her knowledge and passion for yoga in split.
her horizons as a yoga teacher expanded in 2021 by completing training in lu yong – tibetan healing yoga. motivated to deepen her understanding, žana pursued training and certification as a shine meditation teacher and lu jong educator at the naghten melang buddhist medical centre in vienna, receiving direct transmission from tulku lobsang rinpoche.
žana is grateful for the opportunity to connect with others and offer the benefits she has found in her practice. 

What will we learn?

Tsa Lung is a practice that works intensively with our subtle body. By combining special breath retention techniques with physical movements and visualizations, we move our wind-energy throughout the body, allowing it to reach deep places and open more and more subtle channels. When the wind flows freely, this energy can be used for self-healing or can be given to others.

This physical practice is very dynamic and powerful. Breath retention makes it even more challenging. However, it is very important that we train the breath. As we become older our breathing becomes more and more shallow. Therefore, we need to relearn how to breathe deeply. This is a method for coming into a deep stillness of the mind.

teacher

Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche brings the ancient healing wisdom of Tibet to modern audiences in a very accessible way. He was born in Amda, northeastern Tibet. He entered the monastic life at the young age of 6. At age 13, he was enthroned as a „tulku “a recognized reincarnated lama. He received a traditional intensive education in the fundamental practices of all major lineages of Tibetan Buddhism, and trained as doctor of Tibetan Medicine and Astrology. Tulku Lobsang founded the Nangten Menlang Buddhist Medical Organization. Tulku Rinpoche Lobsang travels the world offering teachings on methods for improving our physical, mental and energetic health. With his warmth and wisdom, he opens our minds and hearts and connects us to our own innate wisdom.

the city split

split is a quintessential mediterranean city, with a small-town vibe, noisy streets, and easy-going locals.

this increasingly popular tourist destina¬tion had its ‘official’ beginning in the year 300AD. in that year emperor diocletian began the construction of his palace here, which combined the elements of an imperial villa, a hellenistic city and a roman military fort.

the historical centre was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1979 and is a living museum and the place where you’ll find the majority of must-see sights in split.

Cancellation Policy

 

In case of  cancellation of your booking, a cancellation fee will be charged  as specified below;

  • 50% deposit refund for cancellations 15-29 days before retreat start.
  • 0% deposit refund for cancellations 0-14 days before retreat start.

In case any payments have already been made before the cancelation, the paid amount will be reimbursed less the applicable cancellation fee.
In order to reserve your spot you are obliged to make a downpayment. pay a 60% deposit of the total sum.
The remaining balance is due upon arrival.
